Principals Report

Good afternoon Everyone

It was a pleasure to see such a significant turnout of grandparents and special friends at our Liturgy last week. We sincerely appreciate the important role they play in the lives of our students. The students took great pride in having everyone visit their classrooms, sharing their work and engaging in different activities. 

Ms Patrice Goldman is taking leave at the end of this week until the end of the year to do some travelling around Australia. We wish Patrice and her family the best of luck and we look forward to hearing of all her travels. Whilst Patrice is away Ms Kirsten Leary will replace Patrice in Foundation Lombardi each Friday until the end of 2024. 

Thank you to all families who attended learning conversations last week. 

Fire Carrier commissioning ceremony will take place on Monday 5th August at 2.30pm at the Gulnya Garden. To be a FIRE Carrier (Friends Igniting Reconciliation through Education) is to exercise an important leadership role in the school community. FIRE carriers at Sacred Heart are students and teachers that share a passion for learning about Aboriginal culture and history and are committed to sharing this knowledge and promoting reconciliation within and beyond the school community. All families are welcome at this special event.
