Reflection
On Tuesday, the Church celebrated the Feast Day of Our Lady of Lourdes, a special occasion in the Catholic calendar that honours the Blessed Virgin Mary and her miraculous appearances to Saint Bernadette in Lourdes, France, in 1858. This feast is a reminder of Mary’s message of prayer, penance, and trust in God’s grace.
The Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes holds deep significance as a day of healing, hope, and faith. Many around the world take this time to reflect on Mary’s guidance and the miraculous healings associated with the waters of Lourdes. It is also a day when we pray for the sick and those in need of comfort and strength.
We honour this special day with prayer and reflection, remembering the powerful example of faith shown by Saint Bernadette. May we continue to be inspired by Our Lady of Lourdes and seek her intercession in our daily lives.

Beginning of School Year Mass - Monday 17th February at 11.30am
Our first K-6 School Mass for 2025, the Beginning of School Year Mass, is scheduled to take place this upcoming Monday 17th February of February at St Patrick's Church, starting at 11:30 am. This special occasion will include Monsignor Ted blessing the badges of our newly appointed School Captains, House Captains, and School Leaders, officially commissioning them into their roles. We warmly invite everyone to join us in celebrating this significant event.
Join Us for a Twilight Retreat on Wednesday, March 5th
We are pleased to announce that on Wednesday, March 5th, our school staff will be participating in a Twilight Retreat led by the Spirituality Team from Armidale Catholic Schools. The retreat will begin at 3:15 PM and run for 90 minutes, providing an opportunity for reflection, renewal, and spiritual growth.
We warmly invite parents and parishioners to join us for this special session. It is a wonderful chance to come together as a community and engage in a meaningful experience of faith and connection.
