It’s All Happening at Croydon Hills Primary School!

At this stage of the term, our school really comes to life! Last week, our Year 3–6 students enjoyed a fantastic day at House Athletics. A huge thank you to our staff, led by PE teachers Laura Yorke and Jarrod Butcher, our wonderful family volunteers, Yarra Ranges Athletics members and the student volunteers from Mount Lilydale Mercy College who helped make the day such a success.

The excitement continues this week, with our Performing Arts students showcasing their talents at Wakakirri tonight, while next week our Musical Excellence Choir will perform at the Monash Youth Music Festival. ICAS is also in full swing, our Year 3 students headed off to CERES, and over the weekend, CHAPs will host our major parent event of the year—the annual Trivia Night!

There is certainly plenty happening at Croydon Hills Primary School, and it is wonderful to see so many students, staff and families getting involved.

Kinder Update

This week's on-site kinder visit was a wonderful celebration of the progress being made as we move closer to the opening of our new kindergarten. There is growing excitement amongst the KOSS team, matched by our wider community following the release of kinder placements this week. We look forward to continuing to share this exciting journey with our community.

Industrial Action Update

The AEU member vote on the State Government's latest industrial agreement offer closes on Monday. The outcome of this vote will determine whether the scheduled Stop Work action on Wednesday proceeds. I will communicate with families as soon as possible following the result to advise of any implications for students and their school day.
