Cupcake Thank You
Thank you to everyone who generously donated cupcakes for our students and staff to enjoy at our St Augustine's Day celebrations yesterday. We will share news and photos from our special day in next week's newsletter.
Beaut Bloke's Breakfast, Father's Day Liturgy and Footy Colours Day
We look forward to celebrating our dads, granddads and special blokes next Thursday, 3rd September.
Dress in your footy colours and come along to Beaut Blokes Breakfast from 8.00am, followed by our Father's Day Liturgy in the Church at 9.00am.
An email with further details and a link to RSVP was emailed to families last week - to help us with catering, be sure to reply by the end of today, Friday 28th August.
Father's Day Stall - Friday 4th September
As is tradition at St Augustine's, our primary students will have the opportunity to shop at our Father's Day Stall next Friday, 4th September.
This is always an exciting day for our students and our wonderful volunteers have been busy organising a selection of gifts to purchase for Dad, Grandpa or the special person in their lives.
Students will attend the stall in alphabetical groups with siblings having the opportunity to shop together.
Items will be priced from $1.00 - $6.50.
Don't forget to send money and a shopping bag with your child/ren to carry their purchases home.
Croquet Club Parking Reminder
We appreciate the Croquet Club allowing families to use their parking area and kindly remind everyone to please use the pathways and avoid walking across the croquet greens.

School Hats
As per the College SunSmart Policy, from Term 3, Week 7, school hats are required to be worn when outside at lunchtime and recess and for outdoor class activities.
Please check your children have their St Augustine's College hat at school with them.
New hats can be purchased from the College Office for $15 - eftpos or cash (correct amount is appreciated where possible).
Tarkarri - College Magazine Design Competition
Calling all St Augustine's Students!
We are looking for amazing designs that could be featured on the cover of our St Augustine's College Magazine, Tarkarri, for 2026.
The criteria (at least one of the following) should:
Include reference to one or more of our House Patrons (St Augustine, St Brigid or Daniel Delany)
Feature an image or reference to our Catholic Tradition and/or stories
Include something special about our St Augustine's College; our learning experiences, pine tree, building features and more!
This competition is open to all St Augustine's students, from Foundation to Year 12.

Get your Purple Ready
Our annual Purple Day in support of The Gift will be held on the last day of term, Friday 18th September.
Students and staff are encouraged to come to school dressed in purple.
This year we will be awarding Best Dressed prizes at recess and lunchtime.
Don't forget your Gold Coin donation for The Kyabram Gift - supporting people in our local community affected by cancer.
Last Day of Term 3
Term 3 will finish on Friday 18th September. School will finish at 2.20pm on this day.
St Augustine's Got Talent - 9th September
We are on the countdown to our St Augustine's Got Talent event on 9th September. Our contestants have been busy practising their talents and are excited to showcase them to our community. We have provided a schedule of the line-up for the night.

Community Mass and Liturgy Invitations
Families are invited to join with us for the following celebrations this term:

- Thursday 3rd September - Father's Day Liturgy at 9.00am following Beaut Bloke's Breakfast
- Thursday 17th September - Years 5, 6, 7 and 8 Mass at 9.10am in the Church

Bus Zones Safety Reminder
Families are reminded a bus zone is in place in Tulloh Street from 8.00-9.00am and McCormick Road from 8.00-9.00am and 3.15-4.00pm on school days.
To allow bus drivers to perform their duties safely and for the safety of students and other road users, please follow all street signage in these zones.
Vehicles other than buses are not permitted to park or stop in bus zones to drop students off during the indicated bus zone times.
