From the Principal's desk

We are now half way through the term and it is flying. All classes have been working really hard to remain focused on learning requirements. Yesterday's Book Week activities were a nice change to the classroom learning. The costumes were amazing, with so much effort and creativity put in.

Lightning Premiership

Today our senior students travelled to Yarrawonga to participate in the Lightning Premiership. This is always a fantastic day, that our students look forward to. I look forward to hearing about the results.

Debating

Our annual debating festival has been running for the past three weeks. These will be held in our music room at lunch times. We welcome families to come along and watch.

Father's and Special Others breakfast and NPS House Sports Day

On Friday the 5th of September we will be holding a Father's and Special Others breakfast from 7:30am, all families are welcome. Families are then welcome to stay for our House Athletics Sports. We are hoping to run these here at school, however, if there is further hold up with our new courts, we may have to look at an alternative. There will be a BBQ (order forms have now gone home) and a coffee van present.

Victorian State School's Spectacular (VSSS)

21 of our Year 4-6 students will be part of a mass choir as part of the Victorian State School's Spectacular on Saturday the 13th of September. Tickets for this event are on sale through Ticketek, I encourage all families to book tickets if they haven't already, as ticket sales have been strong.
