Best of Luck to Josie, Rebee and Shaun at the Polding Tennis Trials

We are thrilled to send our best wishes to Josie, Rebee, and Shaun as they travel to Tamworth tomorrow! 

They will be representing both St Patrick’s and our Diocese at the Polding Tennis Trials—a truly fantastic achievement! Their hard work and dedication to the sport have clearly paid off, and we couldn’t be prouder. We know they will compete with great skill and wonderful sportsmanship. 

Good luck to our talented trio; the whole school is cheering for you!

2026 Swimming Carnival - 9th February

A huge thank you to the parents who have already volunteered their time and nominated their children for the upcoming Swimming Carnival. We are so grateful for your support!

We know it is hard for a number of our parents and supporters  to attend this years carnival as it is in Armidale. However, it would be fantastic if we could have some more helpers to assist in the running of the carnival. If you are able to help in any way, please let us know.

Regarding the Diocesan Swimming Carnival in Inverell on Friday, 27th February: many students have been asking about the qualifying times required to make the team. These times are listed below for your reference and can also be found in the School Sports Handbook.

2026 SPORTS DATES FOR YOUR CALENDAR

Friday 6th February 2026- Polding Summer Trials (Tennis) at Tamworth

Friday 9th February 2026- School Swimming Carnival at Monckton Aquatics Centre, Armidale

Friday 27th February 2026 - Diocesan Swimming Carnival (Inverell)

Friday 6th March 2026- Diocesan Winter Trials (Hockey, Football, Netball and Rugby League at Armidale)

St Patrick's Primary Sports Handbook

St Patrick's now has an official sports handbook and it has been updated after the school swimming carnival held recently. This book is designed to give all members associated with our school a clearer understanding of when our school conducts our various sporting carnivals, the processes/qualifying times involved for students who want to represent our school at Diocesan sporting events as well as an explanation of the representative sporting pathways your child may want to undertake in their respective sports.
