Acting Principal's Update
Perseverance on Stage and Beyond
Today Mr. Zeunert led an inspiring whole-school chapel on perseverance. He invited Mrs. Philpot to share on her family’s monumental effort in completing a 33,600-piece jigsaw puzzle - a true test of perseverance! As part of the service, school captain, Toby Pearce, attempted a Lego build without instructions, illustrating our need for guidance in life and reminded us that the Bible serves as that ultimate instruction manual, anchoring us in perseverance, responsibility, and faithfulness (Colossians 3:23). Thanks Mr Zeunert for the great chapel talk.
Principal’s Badge
We are thrilled to celebrate a remarkable group of students who exemplify these qualities in every area of school life. To earn a Principal’s Badge, a student must accumulate at least 10 merit awards, with at least two earned across each of our core pillars: Classroom Performance, Service and Leadership, and Participation and Representation.
Congratulations to our newest recipients:
- Maisie Nield
- Breanna Aitkin
- Zander Ciccocioppo
- Petra Adlam
- Esther Wakim
- Myeisha Morden

A Standing Ovation for The Sound of Music
Perseverance was also on full display during our recent production of The Sound of Music. Bringing a show of this scale to life required relentless dedication from cast, crew, and staff alike. A heartfelt thank you goes out to our entire school community; from those who handled logistics, class covers, budgeting, and set construction, to everyone who offered prayers, warm words, and much-needed cups of coffee along the way. Your behind-the-scenes support made all the difference, and we are deeply grateful to be part of such a collaborative community.
Special mention and thanks goes to our amazing director of music, Andrew Philpot, as well as our incredible director, Megan Twycross. What a wonderful achievement! We cannot thank you enough!
Looking Ahead
As we wrap up the term, we wish all our families a refreshing September break! Enjoy the Grand Final festivities, rest up, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back energised for Term 4.

King's College: The Sound of Music
Here are some gorgeous shots captured by the incredibly talented Tai Short from our recent school production of The Sound of Music. And what a success it was! I am absolutely thrilled by the incredible celebration of talent, teamwork and community that the entire process demonstrated.
Our students have shown such wonderful commitment, courage and creativity throughout the production. The musical’s themes of family, faith, courage, hope and standing up for what is right have been particularly meaningful within our Christian school community.
A huge thank you to our wonderful cast, crew, staff, choreographers, musicians, sewers, backstage team and families for the time, dedication and support you have given. This production truly could not have happened without you!
We are incredibly proud of everyone involved. The Sound of Music has reminded us of the joy that comes when we share our gifts, support one another and work together as a community.
Congratulations to our wonderful cast and crew, you were simply magnificent!

Book Club Orders – A Little Update!
A huge thank you to all of our wonderful families who placed an order through Book Club! We are so grateful for your support and can’t wait for all those exciting books and goodies to arrive.
We have a little update for you… unfortunately, due to a delay in receiving our Book Club catalogues, and with our orders making their way to us from New South Wales, they haven’t quite made it here in time for the holidays.
We’re so sorry that you won’t have your Book Club goodies to enjoy over the break. The good news is that they’re on their way and we’re expecting them to arrive early next term, something lovely to look forward to when we return!
Thank you so much for your patience, understanding and continued support. We really appreciate it!
Wishing all our families a wonderful, relaxing and book-filled holiday break!
