Mobileyes Optometry and Dental Clinic
Mobileyes Optometry and Dental are running a clinic at St Joseph's Primary School on Monday, 19th October through to Friday 23th October 2026.
Consent forms were sent home last week. Please return these back to the school office by Friday, 25th September 2026. Combined Dental and Optometry Consent forms can also be submitted online via https://mobileyes.com.au/consentform/

Mufti Day - Footy Finals Fever!
This Friday, we are celebrating the footy finals! To celebrate the end of term and get into the footy spirit, students are invited to come to school in mufti clothing and wear the colours of their favourite football team. We look forward to seeing everyone showing their team spirit and celebrating together!
School Uniform
The official changeover to the Summer school uniform is Term 4. However, with the weather now warming up, students may wear either the Winter or Summer uniform. Parents are advised to use their discretion depending on the weather. Please remember that we do not mix the winter and summer uniforms. Therefore, depending on your choice, the students are to be dressed in either Full Winter Uniform or Full Summer Uniform.
School Summer Uniform: Girls are to wear their summer dress and boys should be in grey shorts and blue short sleeve shirt. All students will need to wear short navy socks and black school shoes. Please ensure that your child has their hat clearly marked with their name.
Thank you for your support in maintaining our high standards in regards to uniform as we transition to the warmer weather.

St Joseph's Learning Fair
Families are invited to our Learning Fair Wednesday, 23rd September from 12pm - 1pm.
Pack a picnic and stay for lunch after the Learning Fair!
Mobile Phones and Other Electronic Devices
At St Joseph's we acknowledge that parents may wish their child to carry a mobile phone for personal safety reasons however, once students arrive at school they must hand in their mobile phone, smart watch or other electronic device at the school office. Devices will be returned to students at the end of the day. All electronic devices that are brought to school are at the owner's risk. No liability will be accepted by the school in the event of loss, theft or damage of the device.

Sport News
Polding News
Congratulations to Alaska, Mason, Ryan, Zavier and Grace who represented our school and the Armidale Catholic Schools at the recent Polding Athletics Carnival in Newcastle. Each student delivered exceptional performances and thoroughly embraced the day’s challenges.
Zavier and Ryan had a standout day in the field events. Their incredible results have earned them a place on the Polding Athletics team, where they will compete at the NSW PSSA Athletics Carnival in Sydney next term.
Gala Day
This week, a group of our students will proudly represent St Joseph's at the Soccer and Netball Gala Day. This event is a wonderful opportunity for them to showcase their skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship while competing against other schools in the diocese. We wish all our players the very best as they take to the field and court. We know they will represent our school community with pride and enthusiasm.
Jiu Jitsu National Championships
A huge congratulations to Elaina, Mia and Kolt for competing at the Jiu Jitsu National Championships in Sydney last weekend! A special shoutout to Elaina for taking third place and bringing home a bronze medal. A fantastic effort by all three competitors!
Soccer
Congratulations to our St Joseph's students on a wonderful season with OVA Ultra! Thank you for representing our school so well by showing great sportsmanship and a positive attitude each time you played. Congratulations Marley, Hugh, Louie, Riley and Callie.
A shoutout to Luna who was awarded the U8 Diamonds Breakthrough Player! We are so proud of your dedication and performance. Well done Luna!
Kyokushin Karate Championships
Well done to Astrea and Kaile on their performance at last months Kyokushin Karate National Championships in Sydney. Astrea was named National Runner Up in contact fighting, while Kaile finished in 4th position. Both competitors jumped into an intense two day training camp in Sydney last weekend to keep pushing their limits! Well done Astrea and Kaile.
Tennis
On the weekend Nina and Myah Power took part in the 90th Anniversary Club Championship Tournament for the West Tamworth Tennis Club. Nina achieved the runner-up medallion in the 10 Years Girls Division and Myah was the Club Champion in the Under 8 Years Division. Congratulations and well done Nina and Myah!
P&F News
P&F Meeting
The P&F plays an important role in building community by organising social events and supporting the school through fundraising activities. We encourage everyone to become involved in the P&F Association. We have a wonderful committee so we encourage our parent body to come along and support our marvellous P&F this year.
Our next P&F Meeting is Tuesday, 27th October at 5:30pm in the staffroom.
School Fees
A reminder to all families/carers that school fee installments are due on the 21st of each month from February to November.
Thank you to those families who have already made payments. BPAY details can be found on emailed statements and we have EFTPOS facilities available at the school.
