Abi - For being an independent writer. Abi used initiative when editing to improve her spelling. Well done!

Aahi - For correctly matching worded division problems with their corresponding bar model. She also wrote the division equation for each example with very good accuracy.

Baylee- For accurately completing her 'Synonyms for Said' worksheet. She was able to match the synonyms for 'Said' with the correct emotion. Well done Baylee.

 

3/4W: 

Lucy - Showing amazing persverance and determination while taking on the hurdles. You didn’t give up and gave it your best try and succeeded. Well done Lucy!

Abigail, Zeze and Allecra - For your super spelling this week! You challenged yourselves by tackling our Spicy word list and achieved impressive results on your spelling test. These were difficult words, and your hard work and determination really paid off. 

 

5/6M: 

Mia P - for being the only person in the grade who has earned a smiley face on every single page, so far, in her Decimals Booklet. This means that she got everything correct the very first time, I didn’t get to trick her at all.

 

5/6T: 

Sierra - Congratulations, Sierra, on your wonderful start to Term 3. You have returned to school with a positive attitude and have made thoughtful contributions to our discussions about our school value of Inclusion. Your meaningful ideas about how inclusion can be shown at Lilydale Primary demonstrated kindness, empathy and a genuine understanding of making everyone feel welcome. Keep up the fantastic work!

Running Around New Zealand

We are starting in Wellington, New Zealand's Capital city, and will be exploring the North Island first. We are running north up the West Coast. We've passed through Upper Hutt, Levin and Whanganui and have 151km to go to get to New Plymouth.

 

Recycling

We have now raised $2562.30 to go towards the school's sports equipment.
