Principal Report
Dear families and carers,
What a whirlwind two weeks it has been! It's wonderful to see our students settle back in with such enthusiasm and a genuine love of learning already shining through. A big thank you to our teachers for making the start of term so smooth and positive for everyone.
A huge thank you to the LPS community for your flexibility and understanding during yesterday's industrial action. With minimal staff onsite, I really appreciate those of you who were able to care for your child/ren or make alternative arrangements.
The coming weeks are set to be busy ones, so please keep an eye on each page of the Newsletter and make a habit of checking the Daily News, shared each afternoon at around 3:15pm. The Daily News is our way of keeping families and carers up to date with what's coming up or due soon, so it's well worth a quick read each day.

Three Way Interviews
All parents who are coming onsite for face-to-face interviews MUST sign in at the Main Office. Please enter the Main Office from Castella Street. You will be directed to where your interview will be held.
ALL interviews during the hours of 9;00 - 3:30pm are held in the Main Building. Any interviews from 3:30pm can go straight to the allocated room.
Monday - PREP
Prep B - In Mrs Butler's office (in the Main Building)
Prep G - In Principal's office (in the Main Building)
Tuesday - Gr 5/6

Grades 4 - 6 House Athletics
Due to Childsafe practices, parents / carers intending to watch their student participating must stay out of the coned area where students will be waiting.
Prep - Gr 3 House Athletics
Parents/carers are welcome to come and watch their child participate. All parents MUST enter through the Castella St gate (at the top of the oval) follow the path to the BER. All spectating will occur from the BER level on the oval side to the BER around to where it is taped off. Please note: There will be no access to the toilets onsite for the two hours that the event is happening.
Fundraising Group
The Fundraising Group would like to invite any family member to join the group, or anyone willing to help at one event this year, to complete the following form by Friday August 31st. https://forms.gle/SuA1fyba3835aiNv5
The next meeting will be held on Tuesday 11th at 2:30 - 3:30 pm in the staffroom.
School Uniform
Just a friendly reminder to families that students should be wearing clothing in our school colours — blue and yellow — to school each day. Items such as track pants or jumpers should be blue. Thank you for your support in helping our students look neat, comfortable, and ready for the school day.
