Principal Address

Dear Parents,

It has been another great week at school, with plenty happening across our classrooms and beyond. 

Our building program reaches another significant milestone on Monday as the next phase of construction commences. As works progress, members of our community can expect to see increased activity on site, including the operation of heavy machinery.

At this stage, there are no changes to school operations, and both entry gates will remain accessible.

In the next few months we will really begin to see the progress being made and can look forward to the fantastic facilities that will benefit our students for many years to come. 

I sincerely appreciate the patience and understanding over the next few months by our families as we work through this exciting period together. The end result will certainly be worth it.

Zone Athletics 

Congratulations to our 35 students who proudly represented our school at the Zone Athletics Carnival. It was wonderful to see the determination, sportsmanship and school spirit displayed by every member of the team. We are incredibly proud of the way they represented our school.

A special congratulations to our medal winners:

• Mia I – 1st place, Shot Put and Discus
• Boaz K – 1st place and Broke the 12/13 Years High Jump Zone Record
• Joshua D – 3rd place, Shot Put

• Willow S – 3rd place, 200m

   

Finally, I would like to congratulate our Year 3 and Year 5 students on their excellent NAPLAN results. Individual reports have now been sent home to all families, and teachers are available to discuss these results further if required. While NAPLAN is only one measure of student achievement, our results reflect the hard work of our students, the dedication of our staff and the ongoing support of our families. We are extremely proud of what our students have achieved and congratulate everyone on their outstanding efforts.
