On the 30th March (Week 10, Term 1), Year 12 Society and Culture plus student helper Nehan (G12), went on an excursion to visit the Dee Why Masjid (Mosque) to supplement our understanding of Islam from the topic 'Beliefs Systems and Ideologies'. Nehan provided us with an informative tour of the facilities and assisted us with our questions on the faith as the caretaker was unwell. It was so interesting and we were fortunate to be able to walk to this experience just down the road from our school and gain more understanding of our diverse community.
