From the Principal's desk

Thank you to our School Captains and our Year 6 Values Leaders for your representation at the Remembrance Day Services on Tuesday. 

This week all students have had fun preparing items for the Numurkah Township time capsule, to be unearthed in 25 years. We have also added one of our 2025 Year 6 t-shirts.

2026 Prep Enrolments

Current families with a child at Numurkah PS who will commence Prep in 2026 are encouraged to pick up an enrolment pack from the office. 

If you know of anyone looking to enrol at Numurkah PS for 2026 or still undecided, please encourage them to give the office a call or come in for a chat and a tour of the school.

The transition sessions have been very successful so far. Thank you to Ms McDonald and Ms Gray.

SunSmart

In-line with our SunSmart policy, all students must wear a bottle green broadbrim or bucket hat when outside during Terms 1 and 4. There are still a number of students who are not wearing hats. If your child cannot find their school hat, these are available from SPORTF1RST to purchase. Students who do not have a hat will need to stay under the shade at recess and lunch times. I would like to ask all families to please ensure sunscreen is applied before coming to school.

Year 3/4 Camp - Murray Life Adventures

The students had a fantastic time on camp last week. Thank you to Ms Gray, Mr Smith, Mrs Ash and Billy for supporting the students as part of this experience.

AFL Max

I have been lucky enough to book 30 year 5 and 6 students in to visit the new AFL Max centre on the 27th of November in Melbourne. A Compass message has been sent out, please call the office if your child would like to attend. If we receive more than 30 applications a selection process will occur.
