First Nations Students
Barmah National Park Excursion
On Friday 7th November, our First Nations students took part in an excursion to Barmah National Park, where they enjoyed the Kingfisher boat tour and learned about the Murray River from the cultural and historical perspective of the Yorta Yorta people.
The students learned about the region’s cultural history, saw koalas and various bird species, and soaked in the peaceful, calming atmosphere. The day offered not only new knowledge but also a sense of connection and peace and all the students agreed that it was an positive and worthwhile experience.
