Easter Prayer

Let us pray,

God of Easter joy, we thank you for the gift of Jesus and the new life he has given us.

May we be inspired to live out this new life by being people of hope,

people of joy and people of peace.

We ask this in Jesus’ name.

Loving God,

Thank you for Pope Francis.

He showed us how to love others,

how to care for the world, and how to follow Jesus.

Help us to be kind like him, brave like him,

and full of joy like him.

Amen.

Prayer For ANZAC Day

Let us pray,

Loving God, you call us to be people of peace.

Our hearts are full of gratitude to those who have given their lives

in times of war and conflict.

Through the example of Jesus may we learn to live in harmony, peace and unity.

We make our prayer in Jesus’ name.
