2024 Swimming Carnival - 16th February

I express my gratitude to all the parents who have generously offered their assistance with the running of the school swimming carnival and also have nominated their children to participate in the different events scheduled for the day. However, we kindly request the remaining families to promptly complete the nomination and volunteer sections of the information note that was distributed via Compass last week. Both sections must be completed by Monday morning (12th February) to facilitate the smooth organisation of the day's activities. Your cooperation will greatly contribute to the overall success of the event.

I have been approached by several students who are inquiring about the qualifying times required to be considered for our team participating in the Diocesan Swimming Carnival on Friday, 1st March in Gunnedah. The qualifying times for each event are listed below. You can also find a copy of this information in the School Sports Handbook provided.

Friday 16th February 2024- School Swimming Carnival 

Friday 1st March 2024 - Diocesan Swimming Carnival (Gunnedah)

Wednesday 6th March-Diocesan Winter Trials (Hockey only at Tamworth)

Friday 8th March- Diocesan Winter Trials (Football, Netball and Rugby League at

                                   Tamworth)

Friday 5th April- Diocesan Cricket and Touch Trials (Tamworth)

St Patrick's Primary Sports Handbook

St Patrick's now has an official sports handbook. This book is designed to give all members associated with our school a clearer understanding of when our school conducts our various sporting carnivals, the processes/qualifying times involved for students who want to represent our school at Diocesan sporting events as well as an explanation of the representative sporting pathways your child may want to undertake in their respective sports.
