Italian Day Celebrations
Signora Eleonora & Signorina Mia
Ciao, we came together on Friday last week to celebrate the incredible success of our Italian program here at Greenvale Primary School. Looking back to 2013 when I first started the Italian program, it was incredibly rewarding to come together and celebrate 10 years of Italian!
The whole school watched Make a Scene perform a Pinocchio play, students participated in activities all day, they dressed in Italian colours or theme, they decorated Venetian masks, made pasta jewellery, participated in art and craft activities using pasta, played bocce, played soccer and the Foundation-Year 2 were treated to some music from one of the grandfathers of a Year 2 student.
Thank you to our wonderful students, supportive families, and dedicated staff who helped us celebrate this milestone.
Some thoughts from 4WB
