Principal's Message
St Luke's... "nurturing faith filled, curious children to become creative contributors and innovative problem solvers for a changing world."
Dear Parents and Carers,
I want to take a moment to share my gratitude for being part of such a vibrant and supportive community. Days like our school shutdown this week remind me of the generosity and understanding that exists here at St Luke’s. Your willingness to work with us, adjust plans, and trust in the decisions made for the safety and wellbeing of our students speaks volumes about the strength of our community. Together, we continue to ensure that the best interests of our children remain at the centre of all we do.
At St Luke’s, we believe in working side by side with families in a spirit of shared partnership. We welcome and value the concerns and questions that parents bring forward, as these help us refine and strengthen our practices. Open and direct communication allows us to address issues thoughtfully and promptly, always with the aim of supporting our young people to thrive.
This partnership is grounded in our shared vision: to establish St Luke’s as a dynamic and innovative learning community steeped in Catholic tradition. For staff, this means supporting the evangelising mission of Catholic education, nurturing faith-filled and curious children, providing rich inquiry learning opportunities, and using digital technology as a tool to accelerate learning. For parents, it means acknowledging and supporting our Catholic philosophy, maintaining high standards in learning and behaviour, and working alongside us in a relationship of mutual respect and trust.
When we each play our part in this partnership, our students are the ones who benefit most. They experience a community where they are known, supported, and challenged to grow into creative contributors and innovative problem solvers. For this, and for the many ways you walk with us, I am deeply grateful.
