VSSS Rehearsal

On Monday, our VSSS students took part in a regional rehearsal held in the school gym with conductor Clare from Melbourne and students from two other schools. It was a wonderful opportunity to practise our songs together and gain a glimpse of what the final performance will sound like. The students were incredibly focused throughout the rehearsal and should be very proud of their efforts, enthusiasm, and excellent behaviour. Rehearsing alongside students from other schools helped students experience the power and impact of a combined choir.

The next time we see Clare will be in Term 3 at Melbourne Town Hall, where our students will join approximately 1,000 other singers in the Mass Choir. This will be a thrilling rehearsal, as students will have the chance to sing with the entire choir and meet some of the lead cast members. We are eagerly looking forward to this exciting next step on our VSSS journey.
