Principal Message

Be Kind, Be safe, Be respectful, Be responsible, Be resilient, Be ready

Dear Families,

As we move through another busy and rewarding week of Term 3, I would like to thank our students, staff and families for the wonderful sense of community that continues to make our school such a special place.

This coming Sunday, our parish community will gather at St Mary's Church, Cowes, to celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation, with Bishop Greg Bennet. We warmly invite all members of our school community to join us for this special celebration as we pray for our four Confirmation candidates, Ethan, Mason, Talia and William. We know they have been preparing thoughtfully for this important step in their faith journey, and we wish them every blessing.

We also look forward to members of our school choir joining with the parish choir to provide music for the celebration. Following the Mass, everyone is invited to enjoy a cuppa and fellowship in the parish hall.

A reminder that our Term 3 Parents and Friends Meeting will be held tomorrow (Thursday) at 2:30 pm here at school. Parents and carers are warmly welcome to attend. The Parents and Friends group plays a valuable role in supporting our school community, and we would love to see some new faces join us.

This afternoon we are holding our Parent Teacher Interviews. These conversations are an invaluable opportunity for teachers and parents to work together in partnership, celebrating each child's progress and discussing ways to support their continued growth and learning. Thank you to all families for making the time to meet with your child's teacher.

On Friday, we celebrate a wonderful milestone for our Foundation students as they mark their 100 Days of School. We are incredibly proud of how much they have grown in confidence, independence and learning since beginning their school journey. We know they are excited to celebrate this special occasion, and we look forward to seeing them enjoy a day filled with fun, learning and memorable activities.

As always, thank you for your ongoing support and partnership. Together, we continue to create a community where every child is encouraged to learn, grow, and flourish. I wish all our families a wonderful week ahead, and I look forward to seeing many of you at our upcoming school and parish events.

Warm regards,

Pamela McKillop
