PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
Dear Holy Spirit Community School,
Could You Be Our Next P&F *Treasurer* or *Vice President*?
Our amazing Treasurer and Vice President are finishing up at the end of the year, and we're looking for two enthusiastic parents to join our P&F Committee.
*Treasurer* – Help keep our finances on track and support the great work of the P&F. A handover and ongoing support will be provided.
*Vice President* – Support the President, work alongside a fantastic committee, and help bring events and initiatives to life.
These are rewarding volunteer roles that make a real difference to our school community. No previous committee experience is required, just a willingness to get involved!
If you'd like to learn more or are interested in either position, please speak to Georgette or any of our current P&F committee members. We'd love to have you on the team!
We are also on the lookout for General Members to join us. You can even come to one of our monthly meetings and see all the work we do behind the scenes, and how we run the P and F Association. We always welcome new faces and new ideas. If you have a passion and interest to help our school community and be involved in the fundraising/social side of the school, I would love to hear from you!

The school receives 0.5% of your purchase in rebates through their Community Benefits Program. Another easy way to help the school fundraise!
SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR 2026
Monday 24th August & Tuesday 25th August – Scholastic Book Fair
This week students will have the opportunity to browse the Book Fair and create their wish lists before sales begin next week for Book Week.
The Book Fair will be open for purchases:
Monday, 24 August
8:30am – 9:30am
3:00pm – 4:00pm
Tuesday, 25 August
8:30am – 9:30am
3:00pm – 4:00pm
Please note: EFT payments only - no cash accepted.
Can’t make the Book Fair? You can make a pre-payment using the blue Book Fair forms, sent home this week. Scan the QR code and follow the steps. Please make sure your child brings this form back to the Book Fair to receive their purchase.
Purchases are optional.

SCHOLASTIC BOOK CLUB THANKS
Thank you to all our community for always supporting Book Club and purchasing books for your families. When we buy books through Book Club it gets the school scholastic points which means we can purchase books for the school. Recently the school was able to purchase these books below using Scholastic points. Keep supporting our Book Club at Holy Spirit!!
P & F FOOD DAY- BURNT BRIDGE BAKEHOUSE
Here’s a little behind-the-scenes at what our lucky kids enjoyed for lunch last Friday!
Our amazing P&F team and volunteers worked overtime to get 275+ delicious lunch orders out to the kids.
A huge thank you to Burnt Bridge Bakehouse and our incredible volunteers for making it all happen! Thank you to Nora, Alicia, Joost, Georgette, Damian, Teina, Henrik and Amanda. These days wouldn’t be possible without our lovely parent volunteers so thank you!!

CRAZY CAMEL FUNDRAISER IS COMING!!
We would love our community to support our Term 4 fundraiser which is the ever so popular Crazy Camel Fundraiser. We are bringing it back for another year!! All money raised from Crazy Camel will go directly towards the new Playground!!
- Crazy Camel Fundraising is an Australian-based, family run business offering a wide range of art and photo based fundraising products.
- We turn your children’s artwork and photos into keepsakes families will love with simple yet meaningful and rewarding fundraisers.
The students will all get their blank templates soon and draw their pictures on them. They will then be collected by the P and F Association. The P and F will then send them back to Crazy Camel. Parents will then get a chance to purchase their kids artwork on a variety of different products. Think calendars, greeting cards, Diaries, Notebooks, Sketchbooks, pillow cases, tea towels and tote bags.
These personalised products with your children’s artwork on them will make amazing Christmas presents for your loved ones. More information to come soon!! Watch this space!!
FETE LOB-A-CHOC/FREE DRESS DAY - THURSDAY 10TH SEPTEMBER
Let’s all get around our spectacular annual Fete in October! Our Lob-a-Choc fete fundraiser is here!
Help us stock one of our favourite Fete stalls by bringing along a family-sized block of chocolate - and in return, you can wear your favourite free dress outfit!
Please remember – NO NUTS!
Need to grab your chocolate? Pop across the road to Ritchies! They’ve got chocolate on sale, so it’s the perfect excuse to stock up!
We have a wonderful relationship with our local Ritchies team, and we’d love to support them while they support our school community.
Your generous chocolate donations help make Lob-a-Choc one of the most loved stalls at our Fete!

Our much-loved Colour Run will be back for our students to enjoy in Term 4! Watch this space!!

UNIFORM SHOP
We are still seeking winter uniform donations. If you have any winter items you would like to donate please drop them off in the bins located outside the P & F room. We also sell our Holy Spirit winter beanies at the uniform shop for $19.45 each. Our next uniform shop is running on Friday the 11th of September.
LOST PROPERTY
Please come and check lost property to see if your child has misplaced anything at school. We will be cleaning out Lost Property over the coming weeks! We will take any unlabelled clothes to the uniform shop.
