Lent

Lent is the 40-day season leading up to Easter, when we recall the 40 days Jesus spent in the desert. It is a special time in the Church’s year dedicated to reflection, sacrifice and spiritual growth, encouraging us to deepen our relationship with God through prayer, kindness and generosity. On Ash Wednesday, our Year 1 to Year 6 students gathered reverently for a beautiful Mass, where they received ashes on their foreheads in the sign of the cross - a meaningful reminder to turn back to God and strive to live the Gospel each day. We are incredibly proud of the respectful and prayerful manner in which our students participated. We also sincerely thank the many parents and family members who joined us; your presence and partnership in faith greatly enrich our school community and support our children as they begin this important Lenten journey.
