From the Principal
As we come to the end of another busy and successful term, I would like to thank our entire school community for a fantastic Term 2. In particular, I would like to acknowledge the hard work of our dedicated staff and their commitment to providing our students with engaging learning opportunities and rich learning experiences each and every day.
We hope you have had a chance to access your child’s semester report, which became available on Compass yesterday. Student reports are a valuable way to celebrate your child’s successes and progress across the semester. We are incredibly proud of the growth our students have shown and the effort they have put into their learning.
It has been wonderful to see a number of our year level expos over the past two weeks, showcasing students’ learning and understanding from their Inquiry topics this term. These displays provide a great opportunity for students to share their learning across the year levels, as well as with parents who were able to attend after school.
Yesterday our Foundation students enjoyed a fantastic day at Kew Traffic School, where they were able to take part in valuable road safety learning.
Thank you to families for your understanding regarding the inconvenience yesterday. We are pleased that the concreting on the second level of the STEM building is now complete. We are excited to see how much progress they make over the holiday period and what stage they are up to when we return in Term 3.
A reminder that on Friday students will be dismissed at 2:30pm. Next term, we look forward to welcoming back Ms Ogilvie and hearing all about her adventures during her time away.
Finally, thank you again for your ongoing support throughout the term. I wish all of our students, staff and families a safe and relaxing holiday break. If you are travelling, I hope you have a wonderful time away. We look forward to seeing everyone back for another fantastic term in Term 3.
