Studying outside NSW? Join us online to get expert advice on applying to the University of Sydney as an interstate student.
Designed for domestic prospective students in Years 10–12 studying outside NSW, as well as caregivers and teachers, this session will help you understand your options and feel confident about your path to university. Our Sydney Future Students team, current University of Sydney students, and a Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) representative will guide you through:
- choosing the right course and study pathway
- how interstate Year 12 qualifications are assessed
- applying through UAC, including key dates and tips
- admission pathways, entry schemes and scholarships
- accommodation, student support services and student life at Sydney
You’ll also hear firsthand from a current student about their transition to university and what it’s really like to study and live in Sydney.
The final 30 minutes will be dedicated to a live Q&A, with questions answered in real time by University staff and UAC.
