Bicknell’s Cup Success

Our Grade 5 and 6 basketball skills team had a great day out recently at the Intersport Bicknell’s Cup, a halftime skills competition run during the Bendigo Braves NBL1 games.

The team put together a really strong performance across all events, finishing 1st overall and earning a spot in the semi-finals. A terrific result against some quality opposition. They shot the lights out!

What actually stood out most though was the way our team went about it. They were respectful, supported each other, and competed hard while still enjoying the moment. We couldn't ask more of any students in how they represented the school and themselves.

Onwards we hoop, to the semi-finals on May 16.
