CSC Business Academy

At the start of 2024, Craigieburn Secondary College, in collaboration with the University of Melbourne, launched a Business Academy. The Business Academy aims to support our community’s growing demand for a program which provides pathways and opportunities for students in business and entrepreneurship. Specifically, the program in 2024 is delivered as part of the Year 12 Vocational Major. The program is a blend of the following components:

For many of the students who are participate in the Business Academy, work placements generate opportunities to apply classroom learning in the real-world. Additionally, bringing members of the community into the classroom creates a space where students can connect the modules they are studying to the real-world. It also allows businesses to support the school by engaging with students and helping prepare them to enter the workforce effectively.
