Dear College Community,

Welcome back for another term. It has been fantastic to see so many of our students taking up the opportunities already provided to them. The start of Term 2 has been a chance for us to reflect on our achievements thus far and outline goals for the coming months.

A firm commitment to our College Values continues to guide our actions and shape our interactions, both within the classroom and the community. The relaunch of our Values Merit System has engaged students to earn points towards a tangible reward in recognition of their efforts. Families are receiving text messages when merits are awarded, and we therefore encourage you to further reinforce our school values by continuing the positive recognition at home.

The annual College Athletics Carnival was an outstanding success and it provided students with the opportunity to demonstrate their skills. There was a strong sense of House Spirit, with students encouraging their peers to achieve their personal best. Congratulations to all the students who participated in the events and well done to those who placed in track and field, they will now go on to represent the College in interschool athletics. We express immense gratitude to all students and staff whose dedication made the day memorable and successful.

As the weather cools down and the days grow shorter, it is essential to ensure we stay warm and comfortable. One of the simplest ways to accomplish this is by wearing the appropriate school uniform items. Whether it is the school jumper, a school rain jacket, or our logo-embellished trousers, each uniform piece plays a crucial role in keeping us protected from Melbourne’s weather and representing our College community. We encourage all students to take a moment to review their uniform requirements and confirm they have everything they need for the colder months. If students require additional uniform items or assistance in accessing them, please feel welcome to seek support from your form teacher, our community liaison officer, or the uniform supplier, PSW.

We extend a warm welcome to new staff members as they join our vibrant community and help us build upon the student experience. Together, let us continue to nurture an environment where every individual thrives and contributes to our collective success.
