Hockey News Flash!

Our TPS hockey team had a magnificent result today. They won both their matches 8-2 and 2-1 and have now secured themselves a spot in the state final on the 12th September. 

Cake Lotto is Back!

The hugely popular Cake Lotto is back! Weekly tickets are available on Qkr for $2 per ticket and 2 lucky winners will be drawn each week at Friday's assembly. (Tickets close each Friday at 10 am). A different year level is responsible for baking each week.

Volunteering to bake a cake is easy.

Bookweek Dressup Day Tuesday 20 August!

Students are encouraged to create a costume around this year's theme, 'Reading is Magic' using recycled objects already around the house, or they can wear a costume they already have. The Book Week Parade will start at 9.15am. There will be a prize for the the most creative costumes in each year level. 

Monday, 26th of August - Parent Open Morning (Reading focus). Parents meet in the hall at 9am.

Tuesday, 27th of August -  Whole School  'Maybe a Miracle'Incursion.

Art Show Cookies and Gift Cards Orders Close Tomorrow!

Orders on QkR for artist palette or colour wheel cookies and gift cards close tomorrow 15th August.  Proceeds will go to the purchase of Art resources.

Enjoy a $2 Milo tomorrow!

Hot milo with marshmallows is available from the canteen window tomorrow, 14th August and 22nd August from 8:30am for $2 per cup. This is a grade 6 Graduation fundraiser.

House Names Working Group - Friday 23 August.

School Council has established a working group to review the current four house names. You are invited to join the group, which is expected to meet several times over the course of this year, and possibly into 2025. The school will be consulting and seeking feedback from the school community so we can hear the views of our students, staff and parents/caregivers. The next meeting of the working group is Friday 23 August at 8am in the school library – please come along if you would like to participate.

Online Parent Opinion Survey

Your feedback is important to us. The Parent/Caregiver/ Guardian Opinion Survey is an annual survey offered by the Department of Education that is designed to assist schools in gaining an understanding of families’ perceptions of school climate, student behaviour, and student engagement.  Father's Day Stall

Our annual Father's Day Stall is on Thursday 29 August! The stall is a wonderful opportunity for students to purchase a special gift for their dads, grandfathers, or other important figures in their lives. Gifts range from $2 to $15. We look forward to helping our students celebrate a very important day!

2024 TPS Art Show  Volunteers

Volunteers are required to -

Set up artwork for the show– 1 hour, part or whole day - Tuesday 10th and or Wednesday 11th  September. 

Wrapping/ packing - raffle prizes - Tuesday 3rd September.
