P&C Newsletter Week 10 Term 2
Special Lunch
Notes have been sent home with students last Friday letting you know if your family have any credits available for you to use, or balance owing that would be appreciated to be caught up on when you next order lunches. We haven’t done this quite this way before, so some of these balance owing amounts may have been carried over from several terms ago. Thanks for your attention to this when you’re able.
Our old Special Lunch pricing is still in place for this coming Friday. The new pricing menu is applicable from Term 3 onwards, and will be available on School Bytes and in the newsletter. Pre-loved Uniform Pool
Our second hand uniform items have all been freshly washed and separated into sizes which makes it a lot easier to find what you’re looking for. Prices on most pre-loved items have been reduced. The most plentiful items are fleece jumpers / fleece hoodie jackets / track pants, which have been reduced to $1. There are lots of uniforms available from sizes 4-16. Kids sizes 10 and 12 in particular have a ridiculous amount of items - please come and choose some back up warm winter things and help us clear some space in the storeroom.
There are very few second hand school shirts available as they do tend to get snapped up as soon as they’re donated - if your family has outgrown any school shirts please consider offering them to another family or donating them to our clothing pool.
New School Hats
Our new wider brim school hats have been ordered in sizes medium and large and will be ready for purchase in Term 3. You can check in with the school office next term if you want to check sizing or purchase these.
Pie Drive
We have a Pie Drive Fundraiser running at the moment! There are sweet and savoury pies, individual pies and large family pies, desserts and more, all supplied by Mikeloren Patisserie in Tamworth. Notes have gone home with students last week. If you’d like to email the order form to local friends / family / businesses who may want to purchase, the pdf is attached here for you to download. Additional hard copies are also available from the school office. The due date for orders and payment is Monday 28th July, and the orders will be delivered to school and available for collection from 2-5pm on Friday 8th August. Payment is by cash to the school office, or direct deposit. Thank you for your support!
BBQ Open Day
The P&C will be part of the school Open Day next term on Wednesday 23rd July. We will be running a BBQ sausage sizzle and look forward to meeting some local families who might be considering our school for 2026!
Holidays
Have a safe and happy school holiday period and we will see you in Term 3. Our next meeting is on Monday 4th August, 5pm at the school. Everyone is welcome.
