What a start to the PDSSSC Volleyball Thursday Sport Competition!

Our junior and intermediate teams were very excited for round 1 of the season as we headed to Morreau Reserve at Rooty Hill on the 20th February to play St Clare’s Catholic High School.

A very close game for the junior team resulted in a 2-1 set loss. However, the team led by captain Olivia D demonstrated some terrific serving, digging and setting skills which they will build on in coming games.

The intermediate team worked together to produce an outstanding performance in their game winning all 3 sets convincingly. Strong serving from Leona N and Cayla A had Chisholm holding a strong lead early in the game. The girls demonstrated excellent teamwork with many long rallies.

Beyond the competition, what made these games special was the girls spirit of camaraderie, proving that sport is also about supporting one another and making special memories.
