Hello Families and welcome to this week’s newsletter.

A very ‘Happy Mother’s Day to all of our Mums, Grandmothers, Aunts and special women that do so much for our student. We hope you had a wonderful day on Sunday and were well looked after by our students!

Lightning Premiership

On Friday, we have selected senior school students representing Teesdale at the Flinders and District Lightning Premiership. Students will compete in Soccer, Netball and AFL 9’s against students from local schools. At the conclusion of this tournament the best performed students will be selected to represent the Flinders District at the next round in a combined team for each of the sports. Best of luck to the students competing!

New Bathrooms

Last week we had the finishing touches completed on our Junior School bathrooms. They look immaculate and we are so fortunate to have students accessing brand new or new brand new facilities to go to the bathroom at all year levels. Our brand new toilets will be for Foundation and Junior School students, whilst the toilets along the main road will be for Middle and Senior school students. We have used personal learning classes to reiterate to students the importance of caring for these spaces and appropriate behaviour in toilets to ensure they remain clean and safe. If you could take the time to reiterate these same expectations at home that would be greatly appreciated.
