Mathematics 

This term in Mathematics, students will continue building strong foundations in number. They will work with numbers up to 130, developing their understanding of place value by recognising, ordering and breaking numbers into tens and ones.

Students will practise addition and subtraction within 20, using a range of strategies and exploring the link between the two. They will also be introduced to early multiplication through grouping and skip counting.

In addition, students will explore patterns, collect and represent simple data, and learn about time by sequencing events and understanding days and weeks.

Throughout the term, learning will be supported through hands-on and engaging activities to build confidence and understanding.
