Junior students have continued their learning about different minibeasts and living and non-living things. We also explored parts of a plant, made minibeast gardens and grass heads. We hope to watch these grow over the coming weeks!

Senior students in the last fortnight used carbonated water in cups to observe ‘Dancing Raisins’, as the raisins in the bubbly water floated to the surface on carbon dioxide bubbles, then sank to the bottom when the bubbles burst.  Then it repeated again and again.  This week we have been experimenting with colour and seeing how dishwashing liquid can relax the fat in milk and allow colour drops to spread in a bowl and make attractive patterns.
