Hi parents, guardians, staff, and friends! 

Welcome to Week 2 of Term 1!

During Week 2, we have been excited to see more children attending TheirCare. This week’s theme is “Summer” wherein we have done various arts and crafts activities. We made dream catchers – they were colourful, and the children loved them. Also, this week we re-did our West Footscray All About Me Garden and got the children involved by answering questions that were written on the flower. Lately, the children love playing tennis, especially in the mornings with Ashleigh.

During this week our prep numbers have gone up. On Tuesday afternoon we had 16 preps and 13 on Thursday afternoon that attended TheirCare. Our preps children are starting to show confidence coming to TheirCare and have been amazing engaging with the other children. In previous years we have been separating prep children when eating afternoon tea, but this year our prep children have happily joined in with the older children.  

On Monday the 12th of February, TheirCare will be running a pupil-free day program and will open from 7:00am to 6:15pm. Any questions or concerns please let Ashleigh and Angie know. Thank you.
