Hello FWPS families and community,

Welcome to our new families and for those returning, we hope you have had a smooth start to 2024.

THE PARENT'S ASSOCIATION IS SEEKING NEW MEMBERS FOR 2024!

To have a strong and vibrant parents and friends community we need the efforts and talents of many and we would welcome your involvement. We would love a PA as diverse as our community.

Being a member of the PA allows you to be contacted about PA activities, vote at committee meetings, and get involved. We'd love the PA to have members from every class of the school so you are of all of our great activities and can be a part of them too.

The committee meets on a regular basis. All meetings are advertised in the newsletter. Our first meeting of 2024 will be on Monday 26th of February, 7-8pm.

What we do:

We have an annual calendar of activities including but not limited to the ever popular mother’s / father’s / special person day stalls, the second hand uniform shop and other fundraising activities. 

We use any funds raised to contribute to projects that enhance the school community and student experience such as the prep welcome packs, the grade 6 graduation ceremony, and donations to school initiatives year to year as agreed with school council. 2023 saw the PA fund the Wominjeka outdoor artwork and the outdoor speakers for use during outdoor assemblies.

We regularly post in the newsletter, on our noticeboard in the Breezeway and on our Facebook page (search: FWPS Parents Association), to keep the whole school community aware of our activities.
