St Simon the Apostle Year 3–6 Athletics Day

We are excited to announce our annual Year 3–6 Athletics Day. This year, the event will once again be held at Bill Stewart Athletics Track on Friday 27th February next week.

The purpose of this excursion is to assess and develop students’ fundamental motor skills in running, jumping and throwing through a variety of track and field events.

 It is also an opportunity to celebrate the skills and achievements students have developed throughout the Physical Education program.

Event Details:

• Students are to wear their full sports uniform.
• Please arrive at school between 8:30am and 8:40am so classes can prepare promptly.
• Buses will depart at 8:50am for Bill Sewart Athletics Track.

If weather or track conditions are unsuitable, the event will be postponed to a later date. Any changes will be communicated the day before via nForma notices

Parent Helpers Needed

We warmly welcome parent volunteers to assist on the day. Your support is essential to ensure the event runs smoothly. Parents will support only at the finish line recording track results. No parent is to help recording with the field events.

If you are able to help, please note this on the Nforma permission form when it is accepted.
