Dear Families,
Sad News
Our school community was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Mark Fitzgerald, Charlie's father. We hold Charlie, his family and all who loved Mark in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
As a Catholic community, we are called to respond with kindness, compassion and sensitivity when others are experiencing loss. At this time, we ask students to be mindful that Charlie may find it difficult to talk about his father's passing. The most meaningful support we can offer is through quiet friendship, care, inclusion and understanding.
We would also appreciate parents taking a moment to speak with their children about how they can respectfully support Charlie during this time by not talking about his father. Thank you for helping us surround Charlie and his family with the care and compassion of our school community.
Father's Day Stall
Our Father’s Day Stall was held today. Special thanks to our Parents & Friends for coordinating the Father’s Day stall, especially Kate Fraser, Megan Merrett & Nicole Emmerson.
If your child was absent and didn't have the opportunity to select a gift, we have a container of gifts at the office for them to select from.
Payments for gifts can still be made in CDF Pay.

Repeat - Finalising 2027 school numbers
It is at this time of the year that we begin to forecast how many students will be attending our school in 2027. These forecasts are very important as they tell our Advisory Council how many classes will be required for 2026. This of course impacts how many teachers are required.
Subsequently, I ask that all parents advise Tim Moloney -
tmoloney@sfstrathfieldsaye.catholic.edu.au if children will be leaving St. Francis of the Fields.
