Rise Up - Leaders present their first lesson!

Our Rise Up Leaders presented their first lesson in classrooms in Week 5, ahead of Bullying No Way! Week.

The Rise Up leaders are each responsible for a different year level in the school, and have worked hard to develop a presentation teaching about kindness and bullying.

Rise Up stands for : Respect, Include, Speak up, Empower

Each presentation had some explicit teaching (I Do) and some activities to practice using kindness and recognising bullying (We Do/You Do).

Our leaders presented so confidently and respectfully in classrooms, and are already planning their next activities for the school!

Our Rise Up leaders would love to give you some homework: ask your children what each of these headings means:

• Kindness on Purpose
• Friendship Fires
• Mean on Purpose
• Bullying

Year 2-6 STOMP Dance Production – The Haunted House

Our 2026 Year 2-6 Concert will be held on Monday 14 and Tuesday 15 September. Due to seating and capacity changes to the Ivanhoe Girls Performing Arts Centre, we will hold the concert over two nights. The venue for both nights will be Ivanhoe Girls Grammar Performing Arts Centre.

Year 6 students will perform on both nights with Monday night being supported by Year 2 and Year 4 and Tuesday night supported by Year 3 and Year 5. Families who need to attend both nights are able to select the 2 night option with a package discount.
