Principal's Message

Hello everyone,
Welcome back to our BSC Community for the final term of 2025!
It’s hard to believe we’ve reached this point in the year. We've achieved so much already—and there’s still more to come before the year wraps up!
Please take a moment to explore the rest of this newsletter—it’s packed with fantastic photos and stories from across our College, including the Year 7 Luncheon, Year 9 Melbourne Trip, the Youth Agri-Tech Expo, and much, much more.
Parent and Teacher Conferences
We wrapped up Term 3 with our Parent and Teacher Conferences—a valuable opportunity for parents, carers, students, and staff to come together and discuss student progress. These conversations help us celebrate what's working and identify how we can support each student in reaching their full potential.
While these conferences are a great way to connect, please remember you're always welcome to contact the College to arrange a meeting if there’s anything further you'd like to discuss regarding your student.
Headstart / Transition for 2026
Planning for our 2026 transition program is nearly complete. Information will be shared with students and families over the coming weeks—please keep an eye on Compass for updates.
We’ve already welcomed some of our incoming Year 7 (2026) students as part of their transition program. It’s always a joy to see the students leave after a visit to our College full of excitement and eagerness to start their journey with us in the new year.
Year 12 (2025)
Our Year 12 students are now entering the final phase of their 13-year schooling journey.
Many of our VCE VM students completed their studies at the end of Term 3 and are moving on to their next chapters—whether that’s further education, apprenticeships, or full-time employment.
Our Year 12 students ended Term 3 with a fun dress up day of 'what I want to be when I grow up'.
Our VCE students are currently deep in exam preparation, with the English exam kicking off the exam period on October 28.
Next week, we’ll hold a Whole School Assembly to celebrate our Year 12 students and say farewell. This special day also includes their much-loved Hat and Tie Day tradition.
We wish all our Year 12 students the very best for their upcoming exams and look forward to welcoming them back for their Graduation in November.
Sincerely,
Tony Roberts
Principal
