🐾Nala’s End of Year Reflections at ACS 🐾

Hello everyone,

Nala here!

Wow… what a year! From my first morning patrols to the final bell, I’ve loved being part of such a caring and busy school community.

This year I greeted students at the gate, shared quiet moments with those who needed a calm presence, and celebrated big and small wins. I loved supporting students during tricky moments, walking alongside them as they reset, and watching their confidence grow. Seeing students use their ready to learn strategies and return to class feeling steadier was a real highlight.

A special shout-out to the students in the Animalia program – it was amazing to watch you engage with the animals, learn new skills, and grow your confidence. You made my tail wag with pride!

To the students – thank you for including me in your days and teaching me that courage and kindness come in many forms.

To the staff – thank you for welcoming me, trusting me to support students, and for all the care you show every day. I see the effort, patience and heart you bring to ACS.

To our families – thank you for the warm smiles, chats at the gate and lots of pats!

A big paws-up to everyone for following our 3 Dogs Connect expectations. Your kindness, respect, and care helped make ACS a calm, safe, and connected place.

As we head into the holidays, I hope everyone rests, recharges, and enjoys some fun. I’ll be practising my listening skills, going for walks, and getting ready for another exciting year ahead.
