It has been a successful term, as all of our VCE students sat their first School Assessed Coursework (SACs) and School Assessed Tasks (SATs). We have also implemented our Assessment Period running at 2pm every Thursday, where students are sitting SACs out of class time. This process has ensured that we are privileging class time for teaching and learning opportunities and completing some Assessment out of that precious class time window. Student results are able to be viewed through Compass under the Learning Tasks tab.
In term two all VCE students completing either at least one Unit 3/4 subject, at least one 3/4 VET subject or at least one VM 3/4 subject will sit the General Achievement Test (GAT). The GAT is a requirement. This will be held on Tuesday 17th of June. No other classes will run this day. Early in term 2, we will hold a Rules and Procedures briefing for all students completing the GAT.
