- Important Notice: Changes to Maths Prerequisite for Biomedical Science
The Bachelor of Biomedical Science will accept General Mathematics as a prerequisite for entry as of 2026, and the minimum study score required will be 25. The study score for Methods and Specialists will be adjusted to 22. There are no changes to the physics or chemistry required study scores – they remain at 25.
The change to prerequisites DOES NOT apply to the following double degrees as Commerce and Engineering both require higher-level maths.
Commerce/Biomedical Science
Engineering/Biomedical Science
Law/Biomedical Science - will honour the previous prerequisites for the next two years, and no subject adjustments will be applied for any Law double degrees.

- International Experiences for Pharmacy Students
New international experiences are now available for our students. Pharmacy students can now study a unit in Prato, Italy, while Pharmaceutical Science students have the opportunity to go on exchange to Monash Malaysia. Students considering studying Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Science are encouraged to browse International Experiences for Pharmacy Students.
