Please join us for our next monthly meeting which will be at the school. We highly encourage those who can attend in-person to please do so. Webex details will be circulated shortly for those who cannot attend in-person, so please keep an eye out for these!

Bunnings Sausage Sizzle – Volunteers Needed 

Sunday 1 September 2024

Watashi Mo will be holding a Bunnings sausage sizzle at Bunnings South Oakleigh on Sunday 1 September 2024 – Father's Day. We would love your help to support our fundraising efforts to fund a new playground by volunteering some of your time on the day.

1. Selling on the day – devote two hours to selling at Bunnings. We require help from 8.00am-5.00pm.
2. Event Lead(s) – Thank you to Rachel, parent from Grade 1 for volunteering to be an Event Lead. If you would like to help coordinate and plan this event, and be a point of contact on the day, please let us know. This can be a shared role and will have full support and guidance from the Watashi Mo Committee.

HPS 70th Anniversary – Planning Committee Volunteers Needed

Huntingdale Primary School's 70th Anniversary is being celebrated on 15 November.

The school is planning a day of celebrations and need your help to plan and coordinate activities for the day. A planning committee of parents and carers is being set up and the first meeting details are as follows:

Class Reps and Family Connections 

We have a wonderful group of class/year level reps who help with sharing Watashi Mo and school information and generally support families across a nominated class or year level to connect. Our current class/year level reps are:

Committee – can you join? 

We’re actively looking for people to join the Watashi Mo committee to support our existing members – it’s going to be a big year with the school’s upcoming 70th Anniversary celebrations, and our continued focus on building connections and engagement across the school community. We encourage role sharing for each of the committee roles and also divide up responsibilities so it’s a very friendly, collaborative and supportive group. It’s also a great way to meet new families, and get involved with fundraising and community building at the school!
