Congratulations to year 12 musician, Orlando Aguirre, who has just released his first album.  The album is titled Shapes and Scratches and is under the name ‘A Certain Lando’.

AMEB results

Congratulations to William Beitsch who gained a B+ ( High Credit pass) in his grade 4 practical clarinet examination.

Our BMGS flute students received outstanding results in their recent AMEB exams:

Flute tutor Robyn Glindemann's students also finished Term 2 with “An Afternoon of Flute Music”. The concert was very entertaining and very much enjoyed by all.

Congratulations to the following flute students on a fantastic performance: 

Frankie McNair (year 11), Evie Pritchard (year 11), Ruby Minter (year 8), Rosie Griffin (year 7), Peri Stockwell (year 6) and Lucie Hammon (year 6).

Whole School Concert Rehearsals

We are now a week away from the Whole School Concert. It is imperative that ensemble musicians attend ALL usual music rehearsals in the lead-up to the concert, plus the tech rehearsal on Friday 23rd August, starting at 12:15pm sharp in Cuff Hall. 

Thank you – we are looking forward to a great night of music from our talented students. 

On the night:

From 5:15pm – P&F supper stall open in the JCSC

5:30pm – students are to report to Cuff Hall

5:45pm – doors open to the audience
