Dear Parents and Students,

Some BMCC news updates for this weekend!

Katoomba Library is celebrating Science Week on Saturday, while the Springwood Hub is also celebrating Creativity and Community Spirit. Exciting free activities for all ages have been organised for both sites.

 

Science Fair for all Ages - Saturday 17th August, Katoomba Library - 10.00am to 12.00pm.

 

Celebrate Science Week and enjoy hands-on science experiments, puzzles, and games on many aspects of science for kids of all sizes! Magnetism, electricity, gravity, light and more. Play with Spark! Science kits and Logic Games, then be creative and make craft items to take home.

 

The Council Environment Team will also be available to inform on Healthy Waterways and will have real waterbugs on display, as well as water chemistry testing.

HUBBUB - Celebrating Creativity and Community Spirit - Saturday 17th August, Springwood Library - 9.00am to 1.30pm.

 

Springwood Library, Braemar House, and Blue Mountains Theatre + Community Hub are coming together with a celebration of creativity and community spirit featuring free activities, artisan markets, Braemar Gallery opening and Hub exhibitions, a Book Week parade, music and heaps more. Prizes and goody bags will be awarded for the Book Week parade.
