NUDEL CART

Throughout Term 2, our STEM Club has been running every Friday at lunchtime, with students from all year levels having the opportunity to participate and explore the Nudel Kart.

The Nudel Kart provides students with engaging, hands-on opportunities to develop creativity, collaboration, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills while supporting learning across a range of curriculum areas, including Mathematics, Literacy, Physical Education, and Drama.

It has been wonderful to see students working together to design, build, test, and refine their creations, demonstrating resilience, teamwork, and innovative thinking along the way.

SSV SOCCER

On Thursday we went to Wonthaggi for the next level of SSV soccer.

First we played St Joseph's Wonthaggi. We scored first then they scored an equaliser. Luckily Ben got a penalty in the box and scored, yay!! 

Next we played Chairo - a rematch of the Lightning Prem final. Unfortunately they scored a goal in the last 10 seconds to win 1-0. It was very disappointing.

After that we played Waratah and were able to win by 6 goals!!

Going into the game against Newhaven we knew it was going to be tough.  They hadn’t lost a game all day. We decided to change our formation to be more defensive. This worked, keeping them goalless for much of the game until one of their players scored a very skillful goal and that sealed the game for them. We were heartbroken but proud of our efforts all day.
