Welcome back everyone! It has been great to see students and staff settling back into routines and classrooms so smoothly. Our new Foundation cohort are an absolute delight and it has been impressive watching them settle into school life so seamlessly.
School Council
School Councils play a vital role in every Victorian government school. Being a School Council member is both a rewarding and meaningful opportunity, allowing members to work closely with staff to support the best possible educational outcomes for all students. Councils are made up mainly of elected parent and staff representatives, with parents forming the majority, and are central to effective school governance. Further information can be found in link below.
School Council Vacancies for 2026
Our School Council consists of eight parent representatives and four Department of Education and Training (DET) representatives. For the upcoming term, there are five parent positions and two DET positions available.
Nomination and self-nomination forms are available from the school office. All positions are for a two-year term, with nominations closing at 4pm on Wednesday 11th February. If the number of nominations exceeds the available positions, a ballot will be conducted. Further information will be provided if required. Please contact the office if you would like more details.
