With Eid Al-Adha approaching, students at Beaumont Hills had the unique opportunity to participate in a practical Hajj Expo experience. Through interactive displays and hands-on learning activities, students explored the rites and significance of Hajj in an engaging and memorable way. The experience helped deepen students’ understanding of one of the five pillars of Islam while fostering excitement and reflection around this sacred journey of faith.

Islamic Niyyah Parent Forum

The Beaumont Hills campus also hosted an Islamic Niyyah Parent Forum, where families were invited to hear about the Niyyah Project journey and how it is being implemented within the primary years. The forum provided parents with valuable insight into the school’s approach to nurturing intentionality, character, and Islamic worldview within everyday learning experiences. It also created an important platform for parent voice, allowing families the opportunity to share feedback, raise questions, and strengthen the home-school partnership.

A number of excursions were conducted throughout the term for both Primary and Secondary students to complement classroom learning and provide enriching real-world experiences.

A particular highlight was the Year 11 and 12 English excursion to the Sydney Writers’ Festival on 20 May 2026. The excursion provided students with a valuable opportunity to engage with contemporary authors, ideas, and discussions that directly support their study of language and literature. Through these experiences, students strengthened their critical thinking skills while gaining deeper insight into the power of storytelling, communication, and diverse perspectives.

Members of the Student Shura Council recently visited Opal Aged Care alongside Sheikh Yousef, Ms Abughannam, and Ms Musa. During the visit, students connected with elderly residents through a variety of interactive activities and conversations.

Students partnered with residents to participate in games such as golf and bingo, creating a warm and joyful atmosphere filled with laughter, companionship, and meaningful interaction. Throughout the experience, students demonstrated empathy, patience, and respect, reflecting the school’s commitment to developing compassionate and socially responsible leaders.

The visit also encouraged students to reflect on the importance of honouring and caring for elders within the community. Through these interactions, students gained a deeper appreciation for the wisdom, experiences, and contributions of older generations while recognising the importance of kindness, dignity, and respectful relationships across all stages of life.

Exciting Campus Developments

We are also excited to share that new playground equipment is currently under construction at the Beaumont Hills campus and will soon be ready for students to enjoy, insha'Allah. This new space has been designed to support active play, social connection, and student wellbeing, and we look forward to seeing students benefit from these exciting additions to the campus environment.
