Please be aware that retreat week is in week 6 term 3. Not only are these retreats a fantastic faith formation opportunity, but they contribute a significant amount of hours to your RE accreditation. National Catholic Education Committee Conference - Student Involvement opportunities
CALLING ALL CATHOLIC SCHOOL COMMUNITIES ACROSS AUSTRALIA!
Student involvement is now open for the 2025 Australian Catholic Education Conference (ACEC) in two meaningful and creative ways:
1. Speaking to Country Submissions
Students are invited to record a short (under 15 seconds) Speaking to Country in collaboration with local Traditional Owners. These reflections honour the land’s deep spiritual stories and may be featured in the Welcome to Country at ACEC 2025 in Gimuy (Cairns).
2. Student Art Submissions – “Hope, Anchored in Faith”
Students can express their interpretation of the conference theme through visual art, sculpture, photography, music, or film. Selected works will be displayed in the conference Chapel, enriching the prayer space with student voices.
Each artwork must include a short reflection (50–100 words) on what hope, anchored in faith means to the student.

New Staff Induction
New Staff to our schools and system are required to attend an induction day in Armidale. There are 2 upcoming dates throughout the year to ease the burden for schools with a number of new staff and to cater for those that join the diocese later. To register for these days, please liaise with your leadership team and complete THIS REGISTRATION FORM.
