Term 1 is a Hats Term:

Children must wear a hat when playing outside in terms 1 and 4.

We will be organising replacement hats for many children for the start of 2025.

At sKids Henderson, your kids will find fun, friends and new challenges.

Before School we provide a tasty breakfast, giving each child the right start for a great day of learning. We’ll play a group game or activity.

After School we serve a nutritious afternoon tea, run an activity and newly introduced sKids Adventure Programme! Whether you need care for full weeks or a few days a term, your child will be safe, secure, and having a great time.  We also provide complimentary pick-up service from Western Heights Primary School during the term time so that you don’t have to worry about transporting your Tamariki.

School Holidays are filled with fun and full of adventure. Our Holiday Programmes take your kids on a journey of discovery and creativity with crafts, science experiments, sports and games, teamwork challenges and lots more. We even go out on and explore our community for trip days!

We are Ministry approved OSCAR Out of School Care programme provider; you may qualify for subsidy from WINZ towards paying fees for your Tamariki depending on your eligibility.

Are you looking for a place for your child/ren to go for the school holidays?

Well, West Wave has got 150 spaces for the school holidays, starting from Tuesday 17th December right through until 31st January.

We have a whole lot of Christmas activities during the December part of the holidays and heaps of fun summer activities for everyone to enjoy.

Brain Play teaches science & technology classes to Kiwi kids aged 5 - 13, right across the country! We offer holiday programmes, online classes, in-person after-school classes, in-school classes, and free community events.
